Abstract:
MOBIO focuses on biometric person recognition from portable devices. The project aim is to study, develop and evaluate non-intrusive bi-modal biometric authentication technologies in the context of mobile devices and thus under various realistic conditions.
BUT research task:
BUT’s tasks in this project are robust speech segmentation, and speaker authentication in challenging mobile environments. BUT is also involved in implementation of speaker verification algorithms on mobile platforms. In MOBIO, BUT is also responsible for the “Dissemination” work-package.
